About the Visual Artist:

Priyanka lives and works from her studio in Gurgaon,India. She graduated From College of Art ( university of Delhi ) with BFA degree in Art ( 2000 ). Later she practiced her Art further at Triveni Kala Sangam Art Studio ( New Delhi ). A considerable part of her work navigates around the female (figurative form) which plays a dominant role in most of her works. Most recently the exploration of spiritual and mythological themes echo in her works. The sensitive inter play of lines initiate a quiet dialogue within the surreal abstract and figurative forms conversing in self retrospectives. Her previous series was based on the overplay of materialistic wants desires within the human mind. Her work is a combination of drawings in mixed media of muted and subtle Graphite pencils and inks.
